Speaker Series

Are you interested in learning more about international issues impacting the US and its citizens? The Savannah Council on World Affairs can help!

The Council strives to inform its members and the public about world affairs by bringing to Savannah prominent experts, including former high-ranking government officials, private sector executives, think tank analysts and academics, so local audience members have access to up-to-date information and can ask questions of these knowledgeable professionals, face-to-face.

Our Speaker Series programs run each year from September through May.  The schedule for the remainder of our Spring series is below. For the upcoming Fall 2026 series, we expect to host experts speaking on India, Cyber Security, and Maritime Defense among other topics.  While the details have not yet been finalized, the dates for our Fall 2026 season are Sept. 17th, October 15th, November 19th and December 10.

The details of upcoming programs always can be found below and this schedule is regularly updated as speakers are finalized throughout the year.  You can also receive schedule updates in your email inbox by signing up to be a member of the Savannah Council on World Affairs or signing up for our Newsletter.
