Ever wonder how news reporters “get the story” that helps you understand what’s going on in conflict zones and other places around the world?  Come find out when three top former foreign correspondents for some of the top U.S. news outlets share their experiences and answer your questions at the next Savannah Council on World Affairs presentation, October 17th, 7:30 PM at the Skidaway Community Church.

Our esteemed panel will include Meg Coker, former New York Times (NYT) and Wall Street Journal (WSJ) correspondent in 32 countries, NYT Bureau Chief in Baghdad, and now editor-in-chief of The Current in Savannah; Robin Wright, former Washington Post Foreign Correspondent reporting from 140 countries, incisive analyst of the Middle East, including Iran, and now regular contributor to the New Yorker magazine, and Distinguished Fellow at the Wilson Center in Washington, DC; and Craig Nelson, former correspondent for the Wall Street Journal, the Associated Press and Cox newspapers, former WSJ Bureau Chief in Kabul, and now contributor to The Current in Savannah.  They will share their fascinating experiences from some of the toughest reporting assignments in the world.
