Thomas J. Bollyky, Director of Global Health program and senior fellow for global health, economics, and development at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).  He is also an adjunct professor of law at Georgetown University.
Topic:  “Plagues and the Paradox of Progress:  Why the World is Getting Healthier in Worrisome Ways”

SCWA INTERNATIONAL TRIVIA CHALLENGE – SCWA Annual Fundraiser

Test your world knowledge at SCWA’s International Trivia Challenge on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Skidaway Island Presbyterian Church.

Amongst a fun competitive atmosphere, teams answer questions concerning current events, world culture, architecture, cuisine, monuments, and governmental affairs.

Competitors, Teams of 8, & spectators are Welcome!

Challenge yourself at SCWA International Trivia Challenge and help local college students in their educational world quests!

Proceeds raised by the Savannah Council on World Affairs’ International Trivia Challenge benefit SCWA’s Student Study Abroad Stipends. The SCWA annually awards local students scholarships to support their study abroad classes. International programs increase an individual’s perspective on world affairs and give them a better foundation for future involvement in the larger community.
